Our Training Philosophy

At NayNays Puppers, we believe that training should strengthen the relationship between you and your dog—not damage it.

That's why all of our training is built on science-based, positive reinforcement methods that focus on teaching dogs what to do rather than punishing them for what not to do. Dogs learn best when they feel safe, understood, and motivated, and our goal is to create an environment where learning is enjoyable for both ends of the leash.

We understand that every dog is an individual. Age, breed, personality, past experiences, and environment all play a role in behaviour. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, we tailor our training plans to meet the unique needs of each dog and family.

Dogs are more engaged when training is rewarding and enjoyable. We use rewards, play, praise, and motivation to make learning a positive experience.

We do not use training methods based on fear, intimidation, pain, or punishment. Instead, we focus on understanding why behaviours happen and teaching practical alternatives that work in real-life situations.
