Why I Started NayNays Puppers

NayNays Puppers began with one very special dog: Kimbo.

Like many dog owners, I wanted nothing more than to give my dog the happiest, healthiest life possible. However, Kimbo faced a number of dietary challenges and sensitivities that made finding suitable treats and nutrition options difficult. What started as a search for safe, healthy alternatives quickly turned into a passion for canine nutrition, behaviour, and overall well-being.

Determined to provide Kimbo with treats he could enjoy, I began creating homemade dog cookies using simple, quality ingredients. Through countless hours of research, recipe testing, and learning about canine nutrition, I discovered just how important ingredient quality can be for our dogs. Those homemade treats eventually became the foundation of what is now NayNays Puppers Dog Training & Treats.

At the same time, Kimbo inspired another journey—understanding dogs on a deeper level. The more I learned about canine behaviour, communication, and learning, the more passionate I became about helping dogs and their families build stronger relationships. This led me to pursue professional education and certifications in dog training, canine first aid, dog walking, and daycare and boarding management.

Today, NayNays Puppers combines my two greatest passions: helping dogs thrive through science-based, positive reinforcement training and providing wholesome, homemade treats made with ingredients you can trust.

Whether you're looking for support with puppy training, loose leash walking, behaviour challenges, or simply searching for a healthier treat option for your dog, my goal is to provide guidance, education, and products that support your dog's success.

Everything we do is rooted in the same belief that started it all with Kimbo: every dog deserves patience, understanding, quality care, and the opportunity to live their best life.

Based in Welland, Ontario, NayNays Puppers proudly serves the Niagara Region with in-person training and offers virtual training services across Canada, along with Canadian-made dog cookies shipped nationwide.

Thank you for being part of our journey.
