  • Assume responsibility for following through with homework, training assignments, and safety protocols.

  • Hold harmless NayNays Puppers for any outcome resulting from your use or misapplication of training advice, tools, or content.

3. Behavior Consultations & Assessments

NayNays Puppers offers behavior consultations and assessments designed to evaluate and provide recommendations for addressing undesirable or unsafe dog behaviors. These services are intended to offer guidance based on professional experience but do not guarantee specific behavioral outcomes. All participation is voluntary and undertaken at the client’s own risk.

3.1 Nature of Service

  • Behavior consultations are based on the information provided by the owner and on observed behavior during the session(s).

  • Advice, training plans, and strategies are tailored to the individual case but are not one-size-fits-all. Behavioral progress depends on multiple factors including genetics, environment, prior experiences, consistency, and the owner's ability to implement recommendations.

3.2 Risks and Assumptions

By participating in a behavior consultation, you understand and accept the following:

  • Some behavior concerns (such as aggression, reactivity, fear-based responses, separation anxiety, or compulsive behaviors) may never be fully resolved and must be managed rather than “cured.”

  • Engaging in behavior modification protocols may temporarily increase behavioral outbursts, emotional responses, or stress before improvement occurs.

  • Certain behaviors, particularly those involving aggression, resource guarding, or severe anxiety, carry inherent risks to both people and animals.

  • NayNays Puppers is not liable for:

    • Injury to persons, animals, or property resulting from the behavior of your dog during or after the consultation

    • Escalation of behavior due to implementation of suggested protocols

    • Emotional distress or frustration experienced by dog owners or household members

    • Any incident resulting in the need for emergency response, legal action, medical care, or veterinary intervention

3.3 Veterinary & Medical Responsibility

  • Behavior consultations are not a substitute for veterinary evaluations or diagnostics. If your dog’s behavior is suspected to be medically influenced (e.g., pain, neurological disorder, thyroid imbalance), it is your responsibility to consult a licensed veterinarian.

  • NayNays Puppers does not provide veterinary advice or treatment and is not liable for outcomes resulting from undiagnosed medical conditions.

3.4 Responsibility of the Dog Owner

  • You agree to provide full and accurate disclosure regarding your dog’s history, behavior, bite incidents, health conditions, triggers, and past training.

  • You accept full responsibility for:

    • Monitoring your dog’s behavior and reactions

    • Ensuring all family members follow safety protocols

    • Proper use of any tools or techniques suggested

    • Ensuring the safety of other animals, household members, guests, and the public

3.5 Recommendations & Tools

  • NayNays Puppers may recommend specific tools (e.g., muzzles, leashes, barriers) or environmental changes to manage behavior.

  • It is the owner's responsibility to use these tools safely and correctly. Misuse or failure to follow instructions is solely the owner’s liability.

3.6 Post-Consultation

  • Following a consultation, NayNays Puppers is not liable for future incidents involving the dog, regardless of whether the owner chose to follow or disregard provided guidance.

  • It is strongly advised that owners maintain consistent follow-through and seek continued support as needed.

4. Dog Cookies, Treats, and Consumables

NayNays Puppers offers handmade dog cookies and treats made with care, using high-quality, human-grade ingredients. While we take great pride in the freshness, safety, and taste of our products, the purchase and consumption of these goods are entirely at the pet owner’s discretion and risk.

By purchasing or feeding any NayNays Puppers treat, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

4.1 Ingredient Responsibility

  • All treat ingredients are clearly listed on product packaging and online listings.

  • Treats may contain potential allergens including but not limited to:
Peanut butter, dairy, eggs, oats, wheat, beef broth, bacon, pumpkin, apples, bananas, honey, or natural flavorings.

  • It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to review ingredient lists and ensure the treats are safe and appropriate for their individual dog’s dietary needs, sensitivities, and medical conditions.

  • If your dog has any known allergies, food intolerances, or dietary restrictions, you must consult with your veterinarian prior to offering any new treats.

NayNays Puppers is not liable for:

  • Allergic reactions or food sensitivities

  • Upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea, or digestive issues

  • Skin issues, itchiness, or behavioral changes triggered by food

  • Any illness or medical complication requiring veterinary care due to treat consumption

4.2 Supervision & Feeding Guidelines

  • All dogs should be supervised during treat time, especially when given larger or denser cookies.

  • Treats should be fed in appropriate quantities and sizes based on your dog’s weight, age, chewing ability, and overall health.

  • NayNays Puppers is not liable for:

    • Choking hazards

    • Damage to teeth, gums, or mouth

    • Inappropriate feeding or overconsumption

    • Adverse reactions caused by misuse, overfeeding, or failure to monitor your pet

4.3 Use of Treats in Training or Behavior Work

  • If used in conjunction with training, behavior modification, or enrichment:

    • Owners must ensure treats do not interfere with the dog’s primary diet or veterinary treatment plan.

    • NayNays Puppers is not responsible for the effectiveness of treat use during training nor any changes in behavior resulting from dietary reinforcement.

4.4 Product Freshness & Storage

  • Treats should be stored in a cool, dry place and consumed by the "best by" date on the label.

  • Exposure to heat, humidity, or improper storage may affect texture and freshness.

  • NayNays Puppers is not responsible for spoilage due to improper storage after delivery.

4.5 Shipping, Damage & Consumption

  • Treats are packaged with care; however, crumbing or breakage during shipping is common and does not affect quality.

  • NayNays Puppers is not liable for damaged cookies during shipment unless there is a confirmed issue with fulfillment (such as incorrect item sent).

  • Cookies may vary in color, texture, or shape from batch to batch due to their handmade nature.

4.6 No Medical or Dietary Claims

  • NayNays Puppers treats are not prescription products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

  • We do not provide dietary consultation services, veterinary nutrition, or guarantees for dogs with special health needs.

4.7 Waiver of Liability

By purchasing or using any NayNays Puppers consumables, you agree to:

  • Accept full responsibility for choosing treats based on your dog’s health and safety

  • Supervise all consumption and control portion sizes responsibly

  • Waive all claims against NayNays Puppers for injury, illness, choking, allergic reactions, or any adverse event resulting from use of our edible products

11. Affiliate Recommendations & Third-Party Links

As part of its educational mission and commitment to helping pet owners make informed choices, NayNays Puppers may share or promote products, services, businesses, or resources created or sold by third parties. This may include affiliate relationships where NayNays Puppers earns a commission on purchases made through specific links or referral codes.

By using any affiliate link, purchasing a recommended product, or engaging with a third-party service promoted by NayNays Puppers, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

11.1 What Is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is a specially tracked URL that lets a third-party vendor (like Amazon, Chewy, or another pet brand) know that you came from our website. If you make a purchase through that link, we may earn a commission or referral reward.

You might see these links in:

  • Blog posts or articles

  • Product suggestions for training tools, books, or toys

  • Social media posts or email newsletters

  • Website banners or footnotes on specific pages

11.2 Why We Use Them

We only share affiliate products or services that:

  • We’ve personally used, tested, or trust

  • Align with our mission to support dogs and their humans

  • Offer value or solutions for training, enrichment, wellness, or lifestyle

We are selective and transparent. You will always see a disclosure on any post or page that contains an affiliate link.

11.3 Disclosure Compliance (Canada)

In accordance with Canadian guidelines under:

  • Advertising Standards Canada (ASC)

  • The Competition Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-34)

  • Online influencer marketing best practices

We clearly disclose our affiliate relationships so you can make informed choices. You’ll typically see phrasing like:

"This post contains affiliate links. We may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through them — at no extra cost to you."

This ensures full transparency and compliance, and maintains the integrity of our recommendations.

11.4 Third-Party Site Interactions

When you click an affiliate link or any third-party link (e.g., to Facebook, PayPal, Stripe, or a product page), you will be redirected to an external website. These sites may collect their own data and operate under their own privacy policies.

We are not responsible for how those third-party platforms:

  • Collect, use, or share your information

  • Process payments or fulfill orders

  • Display ads or use cookies

We encourage you to read each third-party site’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service before interacting or making a purchase.

11.5 No Third-Party Guarantee or Endorsement

  • NayNays Puppers may reference or recommend third-party:

    • Products (e.g., training tools, treats, grooming supplies, books)

    • Services (e.g., pet insurance, dog walkers, veterinarians, grooming salons)

    • Platforms (e.g., Amazon, Chewy, social media accounts, educational programs)

  • These references do not constitute a formal endorsement or guarantee of safety, effectiveness, availability, or value. All recommendations are offered based on personal opinion, user experience, or general relevance to pet owners.

  • NayNays Puppers does not assume responsibility for the quality, function, customer service, or delivery of any third-party product or service.

11.6 Affiliate Disclosure

  • Some links shared via NayNays Puppers’ blog, social media, emails, website, or downloadable resources may be affiliate links, which means NayNays Puppers may receive a small commission if you choose to purchase through those links—at no additional cost to you.

  • We strive to clearly disclose affiliate relationships in accordance with FTC guidelines.

  • Affiliate earnings help support the time and resources required to create free content, but all participation is completely optional.

11.7 User Responsibility & Independent Research

It is your sole responsibility to:

  • Conduct your own research before making purchases

  • Review manufacturer labels, sizing guides, safety instructions, and ingredient lists

  • Assess whether a product or service is appropriate for your dog’s breed, size, behavior, age, and medical history

  • Contact the third-party vendor or provider directly for customer support, returns, or warranties

NayNays Puppers is not responsible for misuse, defective items, delayed shipping, unsatisfactory outcomes, or disputes involving third-party companies.

11.8 Content Accuracy & Currency

While we strive to keep all product links and references up to date, NayNays Puppers cannot guarantee:

  • That all links will remain active or accurate over time

  • That prices, availability, or product descriptions have not changed since publication

  • That external content (e.g., blog posts, YouTube videos, Instagram reels) remains accurate or relevant

You agree to use external links at your own discretion and risk.

11.9 No Liability for Third-Party Content or Conduct

NayNays Puppers does not control the business practices, privacy policies, shipping standards, or ethical conduct of any third-party company mentioned.

We are not liable for any losses, injuries, damages, allergic reactions, or dissatisfaction resulting from:

  • Third-party products purchased using our links

  • Service experiences arranged through our recommendations

  • Content you access through external blogs, websites, or media accounts we share

11.10 Waiver of Claims

By choosing to click on affiliate or third-party links, or acting on a recommendation provided by NayNays Puppers, you agree to:

  • Waive all claims against NayNays Puppers for liability, loss, dissatisfaction, or harm incurred from use of third-party products or services

  • Indemnify and hold harmless NayNays Puppers for any financial, medical, behavioral, or property-related consequences stemming from such purchases or engagements

  • You assume full responsibility and liability for any consequence of your dog’s actions, including but not limited to:

    • Bites, scratches, leash pulling, lunging, jumping, destructive behavior, or escape

    • Medical emergencies, legal actions, or third-party complaints arising from incidents involving your dog

You further acknowledge that NayNays Puppers has made no promises or guarantees of success or specific results, and that all outcomes depend on your individual dog, household dynamics, and consistency in following training and care recommendations.
